Meet Anja @ Soul Rise
My yoga journey began during one of the busiest, most stressful chapters of my life. I was juggling work, responsibilities, and mental overload that never seemed to switch off.
I started Yoga as a way to exercise whilst struggling with burnout and low energy, and quickly realised it was so much more than just exercise. Yoga gave me something I didn’t even know I was missing: space to breathe, to soften, and to come home to myself.
That first sense of calm sparked a transformation in my mind and body. What began as a way to manage stress, has become a lifelong practice rooted in nervous system care, emotional resilience, and everyday rituals of rest.
Now, I help busy women - often caregivers, professionals, or those simply carrying a lot - to feel calmer, stronger, and more connected through accessible yoga and holistic wellness. My approach is about meeting you where you are, creating space to reset, and guiding you back to your centre.
Based in Leeds, I offer weekly in-person classes, corporate wellbeing, 1:1 and group sessions, as well as online programs, immersive events and retreats across Yorkshire. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or returning to your mat, I’m here to support you in finding your feel good.
Let’s work together to help you feel calm, capable, and deeply at home in your body again.
